Nicole and Matt
{The Castle Westenhanger, Hythe}

Nicole and Matt’s September wedding was filled with vintage elegance. They chose the gorgeous Westenhanger Castle to host their friends and family on their special day.

The morning began in the Dressing Room at Westenhanger, where our stunning Kent bride was pampered by Zoe and Nadia ready for the big day. Nicole chose a 1930’s hair style and natural makeup, which perfectly complimented her lace wedding dress from Wild Flora Bridal. The dried flower bouquet created by Sue and JoJo finished the look perfectly.

As a Kent wedding photographer, I always look forward to outdoor wedding ceremonies. I love using the natural light to capture lots of candid shots of everyone’s emotions. The joy on the guests faces as Nicole and Matt tie the knot is something special! Not to mention the epic confetti!

The newlyweds enjoyed a walk around the grounds of the castle ruins and manor house in the afternoon. This was the perfect opportunity for some natural couple portraits, making the most of the gorgeous grounds.

The evening reception was filled with fun, food and fire! Sparklers were a huge hit and the photos look so cool. It was great to end the night back at the spot where Nicole and Matt said ‘I do’, to capture a romantic photo under the gazebo after dark.
